MyBlockNYC.com is the first video site that utilizes map of New York City. Users of the site upload their videos respective to the block that it is shot. Visitors can view other user's videos on the map, rate, favorite and comment them, share them on various social networks embed them in their sites, search videos and users according to their location, demographic info and categories. Users can also create interest groups on the site with moderation.
Moreover, the site has a school program that enables virtual class and teachers to create video assignments for their children. The assignment submissions are then evaluated by the teacher online.
As of the preparation of this text around 2000 videos are uploaded to MyBlockNYC.com and they were viewed more than 500.000 times.
The site is presented to the audiences firstly on a MoMA exhibition called Talk to Me on July 2011.
Technical details
MyBlockNYC.com is a colossal project with a lot of aspects like a client that can view and search around 100.000 blocks in fascinating speed, a server architecture on scalable cloud platform that can convert videos in any format and a highly customizable CMS that can manage all of the entities of the site.

Comet Interactive is an interactive data visualization tool for doctors. It focuses on Enbrel©'s (a new rheumatism medication) 104 days of usage statistics and its comparison to the conventional and hybrid treatments. It's a data-heavy application featuring 3D visualization charts, a tutorial section at the start, and voice over.

Becoming Istanbul is an interactive installation created for SALT, one of the greatest platform of art, knowledge and culture based in Istanbul, formerly known as Garanti Galeri. It is an interactive database featuring the works of artists, illustrators, and architects around 80 concepts with the concept of the past and present of Istanbul. The exhibition had been traveled around the world since 2008 including cities like Frankfurt, Lille, Al Manama, Berlin and finally Istanbul at SALT Gallery(Winter 2011). The installation can be viewed online since the last exhibition in Istanbul. We have also created the website for the project, which is now offline due to the corporate identity change from Garanti Galeri to SALT.
Technical Details
Becoming Istanbul was a great project featuring a data-driven and multi-language interactive interface with media types such as videos, slideshows, articles, interactive cartoons; lots of relations between media and keywords; and sharing capability of any media, concept, or even your path with your friends through Facebook, Twitter and e-mail. On the server side, we have created a content management to control all the media, data and relations, including a solution to convert the uploaded videos to web and exhibition formats online. We also save all visitors' actions to analyze usage and visitor interest statistics.

Seroquel XR Challenge

This project is a game installation for Astra Zeneca's Seroquel XR stand in APA Convention(a big medical expo in US) in 2010. The game is featured on 8 touch screens on the event area and played by several visitors. The game features a short quiz and a word puzzle. The successful entrants are saved on the server and presented on a toplist, which is synchronized throughout the stations around the event site.

Kaplangı

This is the official website project of Oguz Kaplangı, a Turkish composer, arranger, producer and performer who created great movie soundtracks and advertisement jingles. The site features a multilanguage interactive portfolio in which you can listen soundtrack samples and watch commercials on a stylish media player, and filter and sort the works of Oguz Kaplangi according to type and year. We have also created a content management system to handle all the data and media on the side.

A private island in Turks&Caicos; a grand project to create a high-end residence collection on one of the most beautiful spots on Caribbeans including villas from the world's most famous architects like Zaha Hadid and Shigeru Ban. We have developed the webpage of Delliscay island residency project featuring the architects, villas, floor plans, an interactive map, an event calendar, and a press archive. It turns out to be a very exciting project as our efforts develop into the most delicate samples of animation and interactivity. We have also developed the live video presentation interface to be used on live events, it's used by hundreds of users online at the event times.
